Beasts of the Bible
Not your elders' Sunday school

As you can see on this webpage, the Bible is full of sex, violence, and scary stuff.

Hence, by sheer logic, the Bible may as well end up on the "banned books" list.

Islam
The Quran and the Teachings of Muhammad

The Life and Times of Muhammad
In Muhammad's day, the Arabian Peninsula was full of Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, and pagans who worshipped jinn (genies).
Pilgrimages to Mecca were already a common practice.

Muhammad worked as a caravan driver for a woman named Khadijah, who became his first wife.

One day, Muhammad received revelations from G
od (known as "Allah" in Arabic), and started to spread the word among his friends and family.
His friend group became the first Mu
slims ("those who submit [
to God]").

Muhammad's revelations are codified in thQuran, the holy text of the Islamic faith.

The Five Pillars of Islam
There is no god except Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger
Prayer five times a day facing Mecca
Fasting from sunrise to sunset during Ramadan
Charity to the downtrodden
Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in your lifetime
