In this artistic depiction of the Egyptian Weighing of the Heart ceremony that all the souls of the dead were required to partake in, Ammut (the hippo-lion-croc monster who eats the hearts of bad people) is hoping to have the heart of Akhenaten for dinner.
Why is that?
Why this particular guy?
Akhenaten (also known as Amenhotep IV) was a pharaoh who sought to remove all the Egyptian gods we know and love, and replace them all with a solar disc god named Aten.
Upon his death, the populace attempted to erase all memory of Akhenaten, such as trashing monuments devoted to him.
His son Tutankhamun (yes, King Tut) restored worship of the gods and goddesses of Egypt.
Hence, the joke behind this cartoon is that Ammut wants to devour the heart of the pharaoh who instituted a religious reform that everyone hated.
