The Four Beasts of Sin

In Chinese mythology, there exist four monsters that represent the wicked side of human nature.

These terrors are known as...

The Four Perils

In this picture I just uploaded, I have given the Four Perils my very own artistic touch.

Hundun, the Beast of Chaos

In keeping with its chaotic nature, I designed the hundun with all kinds of mismatched colors in an assortment of warped patterns that seem to make no sense.

Taotie, the Beast of Gluttony

This creature is said to be so insatiable that it devoured its own body!

Hence, I drew the taotie as just a head...since its body no longer exists.

Perhaps it now floats around gobbling things a la PacMan?

Taowu, the Beast of Ignorance

I colored it grey to signify that it is devoid of reason and logic.

Perhaps the taowu is responsible for all the pseudoscience and pseudohistory that floats around the Internet?

Qiongqi, the Beast of Destruction

Besides its standard "winged tiger" appearance, I also gave the qiongqi demon-like horns to make it look even scarier.
