Why I Draw Cyclopes With Tusks

If you've checked out Mythology Worlds lately, you can see that I have my own creative spin on the mythology tales I love so dearly.

One example of my inventive soul is my addition of elephant-like tusks to the famous one-eyed giants of Greek mythology.

Why do I give the Cyclopes tusks, you may be wondering?

Here's my answer:

Historians believe that the myth of the Cyclops may be based on the skulls of prehistoric elephants found in the Mediterranean.

The hole where the trunk begins could have been interpreted as a massive singular eye socket.

With this in mind, I thought to myself:

"Why not give the Cyclopes tusks as well?"
