While drawing mythical monsters during downtime at work, an idea made its way into my head:

If the coloration of animals is designed to allow them to blend into their environments (as well as to evade predators), then why can't mythological creatures do the same?

Hence, among the new mythical creature uploads I have added to this website are:

The Tatzelwurm

Grey and white to match its mountain home

ree

The Imugi

Blue as the sea it inhabits, with a white belly to make it almost invisible against the sunlight above

ree

The Kammapa, or the Khodumodumo

Whose green skin and brownish stripes evoke the natural landscape of the homeland of the BaSotho (the culture from whence it originates)

Stay tuned for more cartoons like this of mythological monsters colored to blend into their natural environments.

May the spirits of nature guide you along your way,

...and have a legendary day!
