Brazilian Folklore Animations

While surfing through YouTube for content that suits my interests (which I usually do after a long day at work), I discovered some incredible animated short films that tell stories revolving around the mythical creatures of Brazil!


Using animation vaguely reminiscent of 1990s/early 2000s Disney, each animated story revolves around a different entity from the myths and folk legends of South America's largest country.


The mythical creatures featured in these animations include, but are not limited to:

The animations themselves (made by Brazilian media company MultiRio) are compiled under the heading:

Juro Que Vi

(which, in Portuguese, means "I Swear I Saw It")



Unfortunately, since I don't speak Portuguese, I cannot understand the narration at the beginning of each cartoon story.

However, since the focus is on the story itself, I am able to comprehend what is happening in each short film.
