Spring is in the air in the North of the World!

What better way to ring in the spring than with a depiction of a deity associated with fertility?

This is yet another one of my Downtime Drawings.
This is yet another one of my Downtime Drawings.

Freya, the Norse goddess of love and fertility, is said to pilot a chariot pulled by cats.

In my own representation of this, I chose Norwegian forest cats.

This cat breed originated in (da-da-da-DAAAA) Norway.

Its ancestors were a favorite pet of the Vikings.

This therefore makes this breed an excellent choice for a picture of a Norse deity.

Meow!

("Thank you, and have a legendary day" in the feline tongue)
